Empower Peace successfully launched another webcast in our EP World Classroom Series emanating from Charlestown High School in Charlestown, MA, USA!! The response was tremendous, with over 600 students from 35 classrooms in 13 different countries participating!

Students engaged in dialogue about student life in the US, sports and other after school activities and showed off some of their language skills by greeting viewers in traditional Arabic fashion. Students from across the globe were immediately bridging the cultural divide by engaging in the broadcast with questions about Boston weather and school snow days, as well as asking what the most pertinent issues are plaguing American youth.

Empower Peace hopes to continue this series by hosting our next broadcast in coordination with the organization OneVoice from Israel, where both Israeli and Palestinian youth leaders and College students will share with us their cultures, and talk about what they are doing to promote peace in their communities. They will also be taking questions LIVE from students around the world!
