Empower Peace recently developed its own Internet based EP
Media Center. EP Media Center is responsible for the
website and is home to dozens of hours of web-based
programs. It houses videos from our videoconferences, EP
Radio shows, and EP World Classroom broadcast. It is also
home to special event programming, like our “Dearborn
48120.” “Dearborn 48120” was a specially taped town hall
meeting with teenage high schools students from Dearborn,
Michigan. As the Arab American capital of the world,
students in Dearborn, Michigan have a unique view of the
state of the world. During this historic town hall meeting
at Dearborn’s Arab American Museum, students from three
local high schools voiced their opinions on everything from
politics and 9/11 to discrimination and stereotypes.
EP Media Center is responsible for the recently launched EP
Radio network that can be accessed through the Empower
Peace website and features leadership development programs.
It is also responsible for archiving EP World Classroom and
its future broadcasts. Continuing its campaign to use
cutting-edge technology and the Internet to bridge the
cultural divide, Empower Peace will further develop EP’s
Media Center.
